Linda Perry works closely with several organizations to promote charity, freedom of expression, individuality and acceptance. By supporting organizations such as the LA Gay & Lesbian Center and the Art of Elysium, she helps inspire the community and members of the entertainment industry to act as citizens of the world.

An Evening With Women is a fundraising event produced by Perry together with the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, whose mission is to promote equality and Gay & Lesbian rights. “With each year, An Evening With Women grows bigger, stronger, and more explosive. Everyone at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center works so hard to make this event a huge success” says Perry. “I had a vision to turn this into a night that you would always remember, an event you put on your calendar way in advance because you wouldn’t dare miss it. Giving people a night of exciting, great entertainment and a beautiful energy that fills the room. There is no denying that this is exactly what we have created.”

Recently, Perry was named The Art of Elysium’s Visionary Recipient of 2014. The Art of Elysium helps encourage working actors, artists, and musicians to volunteer their time to creative enrichment programs for children battling serious medical conditions.
